Compensation Rules Explained for Emergent Trading Pair Delisting

1. Delisting Processes

There are two types of delisting of trading pairs on the platform: regular delisting and emergent delisting.
 
A. Regular delisting (It's over 3 hours from notifying users to the time of delisting)
The detailed process is as follows:
  1. We issue a public notice, usually in the form of an announcement or via the Message Center, and suspend the position opening of affected pairs at the same time.
  2. Users have over 3 hours to close their relevant positions.
  3. Positions not manually closed will be automatically closed by the system based on the market condition at the time of delisting.
B. Emergent delisting (It's less than 3 hours from notifying users to the time of delisting)
The detailed process is as follows:
  1. We issue a public notice, usually in the form of an announcement or via the Message Center, and suspend the position opening of affected pairs at the same time. In certain emergencies, we may delist affected pairs prior to the issuance of notice.
  2. Users need to close their relevant positions before delisting.
  3. Positions not manually closed will be automatically closed by the system based on the market condition at the time of delisting.

2. Compensation Rules

  • If a user makes a profit after closing their positions
The platform will issue Bonus or Trial Fund as compensation depending on the extent of the negative experience caused by the delisting.
  • If a user suffers a loss after closing their positions
The platform will compensate for the gap between the loss calculated according to the best price (the price that would have generated the minimum loss) during the last 24 hours (or on the previous trading day) before the delisting and the close price of the user's positions. The compensation is capped at the user's actual loss.
 
E.g,
User A closes his position at a loss of 1,000 USDT. However, the loss is only 300 USDT if calculated as per the best price (the price that would have generated a minimum loss for the user) in the last 24 hours before delisting. In this case, the platform will compensate user A for the gap, which is 700 USDT.
