What Is Stacks (STX) Coin
Stacks (STX) is a cryptocurrency that was created to enable smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) on the Bitcoin blockchain. It is the native token of the Stacks blockchain, which is a Layer-2 blockchain built on top of the Bitcoin network.
The Stacks blockchain allows developers to build dApps and smart contracts on top of the Bitcoin network without requiring changes to the underlying Bitcoin protocol.
